Buying out of state? Here’s how we get the truck to your door — the two methods, timelines, and what affects the cost.
Most of our buyers aren’t local — and that’s fine. We deliver nationwide. Here’s how it works.
Drive-away
A bonded CDL driver drives the truck to you under its own power. It’s often faster and cheaper for running trucks, and you get a real-world shakedown of the unit on the way.
Trailer transport
The truck rides on a carrier. Best for non-running project trucks or when you want zero miles added. Timelines depend on lane availability.
What affects the quote
- Distance and lane popularity.
- Drive-away vs trailer.
- Timeline (rush vs flexible).
- Oversize considerations for certain configurations.
